Karen Fairbairn, Summer Camp Director

A lifelong camper having held all titles from camper to director and everything in between. After graduating from Florida Southern College with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism Karen decided to stay in camping as she knew it was her real passion in life. She feels so fortunate to have made summer camp her full time career for the past decade. Karen has a background in both non-profit and privately owned sleep-away camps. She says her favorite sound of all time is that of campers singing silly camp songs. Karen resides on camp with her husband Jake who works with both the camp and farm programs at Incarnation.

Dr. Nancy Nygard Pilon, Ph.D., Associate Executive Director

After spending nearly every summer since 1978 at Incarnation, Nancy returned in 2003 as the Summer Camp Director and now moved on to her new role. Her backround includes both Sports Management and Education. Nancy resides on the property with her husband Denis, and children Cameron and Rowan.

Rev. Canon Peter Larom, Executive Director

Rev. Larom has been executive director at IC since 2003. Peter has been instrumental in many major changes at IC including the creation of Natures Playground, our early education facility, and the New Farm, his “pet” project! Having worked all over the world including Africa, Peter brings experience and new ideas to IC on a regular basis.
