Liam Cain – Camp Director
Liam has been with the Camp since 2007. He is originally from Leeds, which is in the north of England. During his time here he has worked in Reservation (10 & 11 year olds) & Frontier (12 & 13 year olds) for the sleep-away program before moving into the role of Camp Director back in 2013. During the winter months Liam lives on the property with Moose (2 year old Puggle), and works together with the Camp team in the office staying in contact with parents, campers and returning staff while also spending a great deal of time interviewing and hiring new staff members for the following summer. The team are always looking for new ways to enhance the summer programs in order to ensure campers have a great time year after year. His favorite Camp meal is Sesame chicken & rice.
Liam has a degree in Film Production & Screenwriting from UCLAN. Prior to working for Camp, Liam has worked for HSBC & the NHS in a logistics role. Outside of Camp, Liam coaches high school Rugby League in Providence RI, and plays for the Rhode Island Rebellion mens team. His goal for the upcoming summer is to make a birdhouse in Woodworking!
Kelsey Tuttle – Assistant Director
Kelsey grew up in Connecticut, and has been a part of camp since 2004. She started her time here as a camper, before becoming a Counselor’s Assistant, a counselor in Winds and Pioneer Village, and a Unit Director. She joined the year-round staff in 2014 as Assistant Director. Kelsey graduated from Unity College with a degree in Adventure Education Leadership, and a minor in Studio Arts. She shares her home with a dog named Trooper (2 years old, Boxer, huge baby and cuddle enthusiast) and several goldfish!
Kelsey‘s favorite camp meal is Eggplant Parmesan, as she has been a vegetarian for about ten years. In her free time Kelsey enjoys hiking the trails around camp with Trooper, knitting, and playing Ultimate Frisbee. This summer her goal is to get better at stand up paddle boarding on the lake!
Nina Orellana – Parent & Program Coordinator
Nina has grown up at camp, beginning her camper days in 2002 to becoming a Highlands counselor. Now she is super excited to be joining the full time staff and continuing the camp saga as our Parent & Program Coordinator. She is also a third generation camper, as both her grandparents and mom have worked at and attended Incarnation Camp. Nina graduated from UMass Amherst, where she received a degree in Environmental Science. Prior to coming to camp, she worked as an environmental educator and lived in a cabin in the middle of the woods! Now she lives in a cozy apartment and enjoys hiking and swimming in the lake. Nina loves to travel and has been all over, most memorably to Spain, where she hiked the Camino de Santiago (a very very old pilgrimage).
She is looking forward to enjoying her first summer at camp in this position. One of Nina’s goals for this summer is to get into the lake every single day! And also make as many friendship bracelets as possible.
